Over 20 Years Helping Singers Perform With Greater Confidence

Voice Teacher • Performer • Jin Shin Jyutsu Practitioner • NAFA Faculty Experience • Hundreds of Singers Taught

For more than two decades, I’ve worked with singers of all ages and experience levels.

And during that time, I’ve noticed something surprising.

Many talented singers struggle with stage fright.

Not because they lack preparation.

Not because they lack ability.

And certainly not because they’re broken.

In fact, some of the most dedicated and capable performers I’ve worked with have also struggled with performance anxiety.

The question is:

Why?

That’s exactly what we’ll explore in this webinar.

Your voice can sound great — and still not feel like you.

1. The Myth of the Perfect Voice

You’ve mastered your delivery. You know how to sound articulate, composed, and prepared. But under the polish, something feels tight — like your voice is working for you, not with you.

2. The Critic’s Costume: How We Perform Our Pain

That subtle dissonance between how you sound and how you feel? That’s the voice of your inner critic. It lives in your breath, your posture, your tone — performing perfection even when your truth is calling for something softer, wilder, more resonant.

3. The Voice That Saves You: From Critic to Compass

This live experience is your invitation to pause the performance. To reconnect with the voice beneath the critic. To return to the resonance that’s always been yours.

Does This Sound Familiar?

Over 80% of singers I've worked with identify with at least one of these experiences.

You know your material.
You’ve rehearsed.
You’ve prepared.
And yet…

If you’ve experienced any of these, you’re not alone.
Most singers assume these experiences are all part of the same problem:
Stage fright.
But what if that’s not entirely true?
What if different emotional experiences are hiding underneath the same label?
And what if understanding those differences changes how you respond?

What This Webinar Is Not

This webinar is designed to help you better understand your experience of stage fright and introduce a simple self-help approach you can begin using immediately.

Why I Created This Webinar

For many years, I asked the same question: “How do I help singers overcome stage fright?” It seemed like the obvious question. But eventually I noticed something. The singers sitting in front of me weren’t all struggling with the same issue. Some worried constantly before performances. Some feared making mistakes. Some became trapped in comparison. Some carried disappointment from previous auditions. Others put enormous pressure on themselves to succeed. Yet all of them used the same words: “I have stage fright.” That observation changed the way I think about performance anxiety. And it eventually led me to develop a framework that helps singers understand what may actually be happening beneath the surface. In this webinar, I’ll share that framework with you.
